The Deuter Women's Freerider Pro 28 SL has been designed as a pack for adventures on and off the slope, with a host of features to assist you in organisation, safety and comfort. The Deuter Alpine Back System with Delrin U-Frame holds close to the back for a secure fit, with a reinforced back panel for extra protection in case of falls. The fabric is breathable and sheds snow to reduce sweatiness, with the massive benefit of the entire back panel unzipping, giving easy access to the main compartment. There are three main compartments to the Freerider Pro 28 SL, with the goggles pocket on top generously sized for any other useful items such as sun cream or lip salve. The main section has the zip-opening back with hydration pouch and opening to attach to either shoulder strap, with a large internal mesh pocket that's useful for storing ski skins or anything else that needs to air. The lower volume front section features a small zip pocket with a key clip, but shows off with its avalanche probe sleeve and reinforced floor for a shovel head. Attachment of skis is easy, with super tough holders on the side and higher up buckles (doubling as compression straps) made with strong tape to withstand the wear of metals edges. The skis slot in with the bindings sitting on top of the holder for a secure fit. Snowboards and snowshoes can be attached on the back with two separate pairs of buckles that fold away; also reinforced for sharp edges, both sitting across snowboards between the bindings for a vertical carry. Just in case there's anything else you need on a snowsports pack, Deuter have also included a helmet holder on the Freerider Pro 28 SL, that attaches to four sewn-in cord points on the back panel with enough adjustment to fit on over a snowboard.
